With National Library Week coming up on April 12, Fun Day Friday is currently in the middle of its first mini-series, looking at the rights and freedoms the library offers you. The American Library Association has its own Library Bill of Rights, which Lower Macungie Library believes in and strives to abide by.
While this Bill of Rights only has six basic policies, each policy is rather broad and covers the very basics of what Libraries are for. Take a moment to look over them and know what your rights are!
As always, remember that a public Library is one of the greatest freedoms a society can have, a freedom to information, without censorship.
