Are you in grades 6-12? We want to hear from you!
What do you want from your library? Join our Teen Advisory Board to share your opinion about new titles you would like to see in our collection, programs you would like to plan or see offered, and more. Your time at TAB meetings and programs can count as community service hours! Email Ms. Lisa, Youth Services Director, for more information or to register for our next meeting. Teen Lit Loot
Lit Loot is a new service just for students in grades 6-12.
Not sure what to read next? Looking for something new? Need a book for a school reading project and don’t know where to start looking?
We will select 3 library books for you to check out (all based on your listed preferences) and add a few surprises to create your own personalized Lit Loot bag. Return the books by their due date – the rest of the loot is yours to keep!
The library will contact you when your Lit Loot is ready for pick-up. You can request one Lit Loot per month.
Volunteering at the Library
Students in grades 6-12 are able to apply to be a part of our Summer Teen Volunteer Program. Applications are usually available in April/May, interviews in May, and training in June. Volunteer opportunities coincide with our annual Summer Reading Program. At this time, we are unsure if there will be a Summer 2021 Summer Teen Volunteer Program – please check back with us!
