Reopening Information

  • Staff are available by phone or email for reference help, other inquiries and to schedule appointments.
  • Browsing appointments
    • How it works: 45-minute appointments on the hour for browsing ; Monday – Thursday, 11am – 5pm ; Friday & Saturday, 11am – 2pm. Call the library to schedule.
  • Contactless Pickup Service appointments
    • Available: Monday-Thursday 11am – 6pm, Saturday 11am – 2pm
    • Patrons will be able to place holds on LML items as well as other LCLC libraries’ items (please note that delivery of items will be delayed due to the quarantining of materials).
    • When hold items become available, a staff member will call you to schedule a curbside pickup time and go over the Contactless Pickup Procedures.
  • Computer Services appointments
    • Available: Monday – Thursday, 11am – 5pm ; Friday & Saturday, 11am – 2pm
    • Four computers available during a 45-minute appointment time slots 
    • Please call the library (610-966-6864) to make an appointment.
    • Patrons must remain in the Tech Center area during computer use.
    • In order to maintain social distancing guidelines, staff will not be available for computer/printing help.
    • Computer keyboard, mouse and chair and the public printer/copier will be cleaned before/after patron use. Hand sanitizer is available on the wall across from the library main entrance.
  • Item Returns: The book drop is open 24/7 for item returns.
    • All items must be returned to the bookdrop, none will be made inside the library.
    • For the health and safety of library staff and patrons, all returned items are placed in a seven-day quarantine before being checked in (per guidance from the latest REALM research). Therefore, returned items will appear on your account for at least an additional seven days after being returned (no fines will accrue).
  • LCLC libraries are extending fine-free for the rest of the year! 
    • There are no fines for items that were due beginning March 2nd through December 31, 2020.
      • Please note that if items are overdue for 28 days or more, your account will be charged a Lost fee for the amount of the item and your account will be blocked.
  • Don’t have a library card? Apply online!
  • All programs for children, teens and adults are held virtually.
  • Digital services remain available (OverDrive, databases, etc.).
  • The Friends of the Library November Book Sale has been cancelled. Item donations will not be accepted at this time.
  • AARP TaxAide will resume in 2021.

Ancestry and Proquest are allowing libraries to temporarily to make this resource available to cardholders remotely while our buildings are closed. Remote access is available until further notice.
Ancestry Library Edition delivers billions of records in census data, vital records, directories, photos, and more. Search for genealogy & historical records in stories & publications, as well as photos & maps.
To access remotely:
Click on the link above and you will be redirected to the My Account page of our online catalog in order to sign-in. Enter your library card number and PIN. Once logged in, click the “Click Here to Access Ancestry Library Edition” link that appears on the My Account page (on the Account Summary page).

Looking for what to read next? Since you can’t pick up the print copy of BookPage at the library now, BookPage is currently offering its digital version to patrons during the COVID-19 pandemic. BookPage includes interviews, book reviews, and reading recommendations highlighting the best new books across popular genres.

Cambridge Textbooks
Cambridge University Press is making higher education textbooks in HTML format free to access online during the coronavirus outbreak. Over 700 textbooks, published and currently available, on Cambridge Core are available regardless of whether textbooks were previously purchased. Free access is available until the end of May 2020.
