Ever find yourself driving down a windy country road to magically discover a covered bridge? Or perhaps, you’ve planned a weekend road trip through secluded and out-of-the-way places to visit some local covered bridges?
To celebrate these local landmarks during “See Pennsylvania’s Covered Bridges Week,” the Lower Macungie Library will host an event on the history of local bridges, presented by Ray Finkelstein of the Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Society. It will be held in the library on Wednesday, May 13th from 6-7.
Free and open to the public. For more information contact Lower Macungie Library at 610-966-6864 or visit our website at www.lowermaclib.org. Please register in advance.
