Recently, a street in Toronto turned into a river of books for one night, and it was beautiful!  The event was an art instillation called “Literature vs. Traffic.”  They wanted literature to literally take over the streets and become a talking point on the power of the written word.  The street was filled with over 10,000 books (and twinkly lights) and people were encouraged to help themselves to books they found.  Check out pictures and videos of the event here!
