We are excited to announce that we will be moving to a new library catalog in October. The new catalog will be easy to use, with a clean, patron-friendly interface available on your phone, tablet or computer.
We are working hard to make this transition as seamless as possible for our patrons. Please contact the library at 610-966-6864 or email with any questions you may have.
Will I be able to search for items using the catalog during this transition?
Beginning Saturday, October 6, our catalog will not be available to search for items. Our new catalog will be ready to use starting October 11th. Please ask our librarians for help in locating items during this period.
Will I be able to place holds on items during this time? What will happen to my holds I’ve already placed?
You will not be able to place any holds beginning Saturday, October 6. Items that you have placed on hold prior to that date will transfer over to our new system.
Will I still receive email notifications of items due soon or overdue materials during this transition period?
Email notices will not be sent starting October 8. The hold available notification resumes on October 11. The rest of the notices will resume the week of October 15th.
Will the library be closed during this transition?
No, our library will remain open its regular business hours.
Can I return books during this transition?
No materials will be due from October 8 – October 11. We ask that you hold onto your materials during this time. No items will be checked in during this period.
Will my Permanent Lists in my account online transfer over to the new system?

When I access my account in the new catalog, will I still need to use a PIN? Will my PIN remain the same?

On October 11, your PIN will change from the last four digits of your library card to the last four digits of your Home phone (if you did not provide a home phone number, then your PIN will be the last four digits of your Cell phone). If you have any issues logging into your account on or after October 11, please call the library so we can assist you.
