Will I still receive email notifications of items due soon or overdue materials during this transition period?
Hold available notification will now be sent via email. If there isn’t an email address in your library account, we will notify you by phone. Text messaging is now available as well! Log into your Account to update your notification preferences.
The rest of the notices (overdue, bills) will resume the week of October 15th.
When I access my account in the new catalog, will I still need to use a PIN? Will my PIN remain the same?
Yes, a PIN is still required in order to access your library account online as well as your OverDrive account. On October 11, your PIN will change from the last four digits of your library card to the last four digits of your Home phone (if you did not provide a home phone number, then your PIN will be the last four digits of your Cell phone). If you have any issues logging into your account on or after October 11, please call the library so we can assist you.
Will any checkout limits and fines change with the new catalog?
Yes, with our new catalog, there are a few changes to both checkout limits and fines:

1 renewal for all items (including NEW). Exception: items with patron holds cannot be renewed.
Will my Permanent Lists in my account online transfer over to the new system?
Please be sure to print your lists before October 6, these lists will not transfer over to the new system.
