100 Notable Books of 2017

Olimpia Zagnoli

Happy Friday and Happy December!  It’s hard to believe but 2017 is almost over, so how better to wrap up the year than by reflecting upon the notable books that were published this year?  The New York Times just released their annual list of “The year’s notable fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, selected by the editors of The New York Times Book Review.  This list represents books reviewed since December 4, 2016, when the previous Notables list was published.”

Check it out to see if you agree with their choices.  Don’t forget that you can put in a “purchase request” for a specific book so that you may be one of the first people to read the book here at the library.  And as always, if this list inspires you to read a specific author’s older works and we don’t have the item you’re looking for, feel free to fill out a form for Interlibrary Loan and we’ll do our best to find the item for you from another library.
