George R. R. Martin in the News

Happy Friday!  No matter if you watch Game of Thrones or not, I’m sure by now you’ve heard all about it by now.  Season 7 just ended and everyone is anxiously waiting for Season 8 which won’t premiere until 2018 or 2019.  Since that will be the final season, the plot and finale have and will be heavily under wraps.  It was just released that in order to help keep things a secret there will be multiple endings filmed.

Can’t get enough of George R.R. Martin’s stories?  The television station Syfy just announced that it will be turning Martin’s Nightflyers novella into a series.  “the story follows eight maverick scientists and a powerful telepath who embark on an expedition to the edge of our solar system in the hopes of contacting alien life. They travel aboard The Nightflyer – a ship with a small tightknit crew and a reclusive captain. But when terrifying and violent events begin to take place they start to question each other, and surviving the journey proves harder than anyone thought.”
