Get into the Halloween spirit by decorating a mini pumpkin as one of your favorite book characters!
We will provide a mini-pumpkin to the first 25 registered participants (ages 2 – 12th grade)- you provide the other craft supplies and creativity. (If all 25 pumpkins have been claimed, you are more than welcome to participate using a pumpkin of your own! Real or fake – it’s up to you).
Pumpkin registrations are available October 1 (10:00 am) through October 17, or until all pumpkins have been claimed. It is your responsibility to contact the library at 610-966-6864 to schedule a contactless pick-up of your pumpkin within 5 days of registration. Otherwise, the pumpkin goes back into the patch for the next person!
Photos of the completed pumpkins are due by email by Saturday, October 24th. Photos will be displayed on the library’s Facebook page October 26-30, and a winner will be announced on Halloween.

Teen Advisory Board
Teens, we want to hear from you! What do you want from your library? Join our Teen Advisory Board to share your opinion about new titles you’d like to see in our collection, programs you’d like to plan or see offered, and more. Your time at TAB meetings and programs can count as community service hours, and we always offer snacks! Email email@example.com for more information or to register for our next meeting. New members (in grades 6-12) are always welcome!
The Teen Advisory Board typically meets on the 3rd Friday of each month at 3:30 pm. Check the Events Calendar for a current schedule.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no Summer Teen Volunteer Program in 2020.
We have limited opportunities for teen volunteers to create virtual programming for the library. If you have a special skill or talent that you could share in a “how-to” video, please contact Youth Services Director Lisa Underwood (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss options.
